Current Events with a Historical Perspective

March 5, 2018 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

From Connie Sullivan, 66th ADDC Co-Chair:

Hello Fellow 66th Assembly District Democrats:

On March 5, at 7 pm at the Manhattan Bread and Bagel (1812 Sepulveda Blvd, Manhattan Beach) we will hold the first quarter general membership meeting of the 66th Assembly District Democratic Council.

We’re very proud to present UCLA History Professor Chris Gantner who will speak on “Current Events with a Historical Perspective”. Fortunately, this topic gives him the latitude to educate us with his very engaging and wide-ranging thoughts about our current political environment.

Prof. Gantner last spoke to us about 5 years ago, so you won’t want to miss him this time. We don’t know when he’ll be able to come back.

Also, we’ll hold a bumper sticker slogan contest, so bring your best ideas. The winning bumper sticker slogan will be presented to the DCCC and the DNC. Surely, we can do better than “A Better Deal”, can’t we?

Hope to see you on the 5th!
