Families Belong Together Rally

Beach Cities Democrats will join the “Families Belong Together” rally on the sand just south of the Hermosa Beach Pier at 9:00 AM, this Saturday, June 30. (The march from Manhattan Beach to this event has been cancelled.) The program at the Hermosa Pier will include a presentation from Assemblyman Al Muratsuchi, a local immigrant, and presentations about ways to get involved. A drum circle and other activities are also being planned. These events will wrap up soon after 10:00AM. Then, we will join the MoveOn Rally at 11:00 AM at the corner of Hawthorne & Artesia Blvds. at the South Bay Galleria. Parking is at the former Nordstrom’s location. You can join in for all or any part of the day’s events. Please bring your family and friends to show that this cruel policy is un-American and will not be tolerated. Look for us at the Hermosa Pier and join us behind our Beach Cities Democrats banner, where we will also arrange car pools to the MoveOn event.
