Congressional Fundraiser – Invitiation from Congressman Ted Lieu

In 2018, Californians sent seven freshman Democrats to the House of Representatives. They represent some of the brightest, most instrumental members of our caucus, and I couldn’t be more proud to serve alongside them in Congress. And today, I have the great pleasure of inviting you to join a virtual event in support of my colleagues Rep. Gil Cisneros (CA-39), Rep. TJ Cox (CA-21), Rep. Josh Harder (CA-10), Rep. Mike Levin (CA-49), Rep. Katie Porter (CA-45), Rep. Harley Rouda (CA-48), and Congressional candidate/Assemblymember Christy Smith (CA-25).
The fundraiser is hosted by former Presidential candidate Tom Steyer and Kat Taylor, along with Congressional candidate Brynne Kennedy (CA-04) and Rep. Barbara Lee (CA-13). Bonnie Raitt will be giving a special performance!

Although we flipped the House in 2018, we can’t take any of those victories for granted, especially since Trump’s GOP is already spending millions of dollars in competitive California districts. And because COVID-19 has changed campaigning as we know it, these types of virtual events are all the more important to ensuring my colleagues have the resources they need to continue serving California families in Congress.
