Saving The World, One Cartoon at a Time: An Evening With Keith Knight

Hello from Richard Foss, a Manhattan Beach Democrat and journalist for the Easy Reader who has attended a few virtual meetings.

I run a 49-seat nonprofit arts space has a program that I think may be of interest to the Beach Cities Democrats. Keith Knight is a progressive political cartoonist who will be showing his art and also presenting a talk called “Saving The World, One Cartoon at a Time.” The date is April 1st, the venue is in San Pedro.

We at Collage are hoping to host more programs that showcase the literary and artistic side of political discourse, and if anyone has ideas about potential programs or presenters, I would be delighted to hear from them. We are ambitious about high concepts, and will be presenting a 12 day show of Ukrainian art and culture in April to push back against Putin’s lie that the Ukrainians have no art and culture of their own.
